Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Chicken Sandwiches
So much goodness in a simple sandwich! And, friends, let’s be honest—the slow cooker never makes things harder. So give this recipe a try for an easy weeknight dinner.
Instructions:
1. In a slow cooker, place 1-2 pounds chicken breasts, tenderloins, or thighs.
2. Mix together 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 3 tbsp yellow mustard, 2 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp vinegar, and 1 tsp pepper.
3. Pour over the top of the chicken. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Shred, and place back in crockpot liquid for a few minutes.
4. Serve on toasted buns with arugula, provolone or Swiss cheese, and slices of bacon. BBQ sauce or mayo is the perfect condiment.
